What is the rural toolkit?

The Rural toolkit, launched on 6 February 2024, guides stakeholders to identify EU funding opportunities to foster development in rural areas. It gives an overview of existing funds, programmes and support initiatives, and helps local authorities, NGOs, institutions, businesses and individuals to find out which opportunities are best suited for them.

Then the Handbook of territorial and local development strategies is for you!

The handbook offers methodological support for managing authorities of operational programmes, local authorities and any other organisation involved in designing, implementing and/or monitoring development strategies.

Furthermore, the publication addresses territorial development beyond cities, functional urban areas and metropolitan areas. It offers inspiration and food for thought on how to tackle the most relevant or recurring policy challenges that territorial development actors may encounter.
